Florida Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP)
(NewVision is Certified in Central and South Florida)
The FCHP program promotes professionalism among horticulture professionals, including nursery, greenhouse, landscape and retail garden center employees. This is the industry's only standard for measuring horticulture knowledge on everything from nomenclature to international shipping. An Florida Certified Horticulture Professional is a more knowledgeable,productive and dedicated professional. Through study, examination and continuing education, the FCHP has the professional know-how to solve environmental horticulture problems.
Florida Certified Landscape Designer (FCLD)
The FCLD program offers a professional designation for Landscape Designers who complete a rigorous exam process. The program was established to provide commercial and residential consumers a way to choose qualified professionals for landscape design. When someone earns an FCLD designation, he or she has demonstrated proficiency in design theory and application, as well as six of the same field exams required by FCLC and FCLT applicants. This all-encompassing exam requires knowledge of the design process as well as the actual installation of that design.
